Belgreen Higher School’s Kimberly Luna reported she by no means assumed she would operate cross country once more after her last race as a Girl Bulldog.

Luna will sign up for the crew in its to start with season at Calhoun Group Higher education. The program is led by Coach Tiffany Bain.

Calhoun declared the new group on its site in January, with interim president Dr. Joe Burke sharing the specifics of the new co-ed program for Calhoun athletes.

The Calhoun Athletics Department declared an intention to award a overall of 10 scholarships for the men’s staff and 10 for the women’s workforce, to include textbooks, tuition and service fees.

The cross-region year is scheduled to start in September. Luna and her fellow Warhawk runners will compete in opposition to a variety of opponents inside of the Alabama Community Higher education Conference, the National Junior University Athletic Affiliation, the Nationwide College Athletic Association and the Nationwide Athletic Intercontinental Affiliation.
