And then I went to Lincoln Center University for my second semester of eighth grade and graduated from West Superior University. So I’ve been, definitely, a portion of this program from the starting.”

And then to seriously leverage their lecturers, obtaining large anticipations, and generating meaningful and powerful interactions during this approach. I’m centering students and faculties, but not just that. Also, their people, for the reason that whom all they convey with them is now a section of us as a college district. So, we cannot just say, ‘oh, we’re just concentrating on kids’. We have to triangulate that and there’s a college piece, there’s a spouse and children piece, there is a neighborhood piece, and we all have to actually be intentional about the work centering them. And all the things that we can to guarantee they are successful.”

Not just as a presence. But I have to be ready to know and live and breathe each college so that I can advocate for and assistance the requirements of all those sites in meaningful techniques and intentionally. Since folks will tell you they need to have a large amount of stuff. And I would not seriously know if they essential it or how they required it. I would have to depend on what they explained. But if I’m a part of the group not just in the college, but outside of the faculty, getting to know households, listening to their voices, their team voices, their scholar voices, then I can have a much higher impact.”
Hicks understands the significance of her position and is genuine in her educating. She appreciates her position is larger than her.
